Ran by for the first time in a while. Man did I miss these excellent donuts. Took a dozen or sonto the Chiefs game. They were enjoyed by the masses

Excellent variety of fresh doughnuts. They were about a buck apiece, and well worth it in my opinion. The cinnamon toast crunch donut was a hit with the kids. I really enjoyed the bavarian cream. Would definitely recommend.

Oh how we love donut king! It is by far the best donut shop in Kansas City! The yeast donuts are thick, fluffy and delicious. The peanut butter is my personal favorite and not to be missed! We love that they are open all day and late at night so we can get our donut fix anytime!!

More than just a regular donut shop, Donut King has been an institution in the Northland for a very long time. But they have updated with the times, as their expanded donut variety and additions of coffee drinks and cupcakes would suggest. Plus, every time I come here, I get the impression that the people who work there genuinely seem to care about the business. It shows in their service and just the overall charm of their little place. Oh, and everything here is delicious, too, just in case you were wondering.

Always Good, Always Fresh. Never low on donuts. Everything is always soo good.

Kids loved their doughnuts. I was particularlly fascinated with their Cruller doughnuts - Excellent!

Love the place is open earlier that I can go before work ,has drive thru and my favorite donut holes. They are constantly coming out with new things.. love everything I've tried

My daughter and I love this donut shop we like to stop in when ever we are in the area. Staff is always so and helpful when trying to select from the many different donuts that they offer. Do you like sweet treats you enjoy the sweet smell to the atmosphere as you walk through the door. I'm a fan of the gla's but that's because I grew up on glazed donuts in general. I've tried many of their flavors and I don't think any of them are bad. I definitely recommend going to visit if you have not already.

Slightly disappointed with the quality of their donuts over time. Glazed twists were very sad looking and didn't rise correctly or looked right. Our long johns were also shaped disproportionately.. not really happy...and everytime we order a coffee they are not consistent on getting it made right. One time we didn't even get our flavoring in our coffee and another time the flavoring was wayyyy too strong.

You get fat(er) just walking in the door but that's what you're there for! VERY good donut shop, just wish it were closer to my house. But then I probably wouldn't be able to get in my car since i had put on so much.

I don't go here often, but I hate when I go and get cold day old donuts.....like this am. Sometimes, I get lucky and get the warm and fresh ones. I'd rather continue getting doughnuts from Price Chopper. At least they are always fresh in the am.

Donuts were delicious!! We got a mix of cake and yeast donuts and all of them were so good! The drive through service was busy, but very quick. Would definitely recommend!!

Good donuts but too expensive. I paid $30 for a dozen donuts and two apple fritters. I arrived at 6am, an hout after they opened and a few items I wanted were not even made yet. Kind of a disappointment.

Great tasting donuts. Comparable to Lamar's of old, not the existing stores in KCMO. We tried a lot to find one that is not too sickening sweet, but just right. Oh, and their service is with a smile and great attitude.

This place has the best donuts I have ever had in my life!! Unbelievably Good, flavorful, moist, with toppings on some that add an even better flavor and experience. The staff seemed a little ditzy but it was more than tolerable considering the product they have is better than amazing! Thanks Donut King!!

Do yourself a favor and never get donuts from here because once you do no other donut place will do. This place has so many different donuts to choose from, I always end up getting more then I planned because I have to try the new ones right? My favorite are the red velvet, blueberry cake donut, and oh my God I almost forgot the seasonal pumpkin spice donut. The cupcakes are delicious as well. This place sells donuts so good I moved 20 miles away, but I will wake up early and drive the extra miles to get these to take into my coworkers.

Hands down, the best donuts in Kansas City! You truly haven't eaten a "real" donut until you've experienced a taste of Donut King! 🍩YUMMY! 🍩

Amazing donuts, cupcakes, and pastries in an open view kitchen environment. Located as the west anchor store in the strip mall directly south of NKCH, right where Armour turns into 210 going South. (Same parking lot as Bank of America). I ordered their jumbo cupcakes for a work function and was not disapointed! These cupcakes were a work of art that tasted as good as they look, and we're half the price of Cupcake à la mode. Their donuts looked beautiful and the size of their apple fritters, bear claws, and cinnamon rolls are amazing. I definitely recommend checking them out!

The people are always so friendly here! The donuts are so amazing. But the best of all is the cronut... YUM! Fried croissant... To die for.

The donuts are great. I always get some traditional glazed and some assorted cake donuts. Never been disappointed. It is always a bonus if you are lucky enough to get some glazed donuts that are still warm.

Great quality of donut, great selection with all the fancy cereal donuts to the classics. Friendly and fast. They have a drive through or order ahead. Highly recommend!

Would of been 5 stars but one issue. Donuts are great. But employee who boxed our donuts seemed very tired or stoned. She told me I picked a dozen and closed the box and sent us our way. Got home to find 11 donuts in the box. No big deal. But when we walked outside I could smell marijuana. Could of been a customer smoking. Who knows.

Best doughnuts in KC! Always fresh and a HUGE variety to choose from. Staff is always very friendly and speedy. Only wish there were more locations.

I found Doughnut King by accident while on a work trip ! I will forever remember how amazing their doughnuts are !!! Amazing old fashion doughnuts with so many flavor options ! My favorites Included lemon orange and cherry ! They were open late and still had a lots of options choose from !

I would say Donut King is just okay. If you go during the day is pretty good. If you go at night you get the unhappy, unenthusiastic, don't care what you want - this is all we have - girl. No one forced you to do this job. If you don't like it quit and let someone else do it

Simply the best donut store around. With selections that run from standard glazed all the way to cereal covered delicious goodness. And you can't beat their hours. When other shops are closed donut King is there for you. Yumm

We love the donuts here. Their glazed donuts are the best in town. My kids love the sprinkle donuts and often ask to drive across town to come get THESE donuts over any others!

Good donut... but I expected some gold flakes inside with how much they charge for a glazed donut.

My only complaint is that they are always short on cronuts. Otherwise their donuts are perfection and I send all my friends here

They usually don't have my particular favorite which is the French glazed cruelers but besides that little nitpick the customer service is nice and I come their almost every weekend!~

Oh seriously the BEST donuts I have EVER had. I usually only get glazed donuts because I think anything else is too sweet. Their glazed are out of this world. My next favorite is their Cherry Iced Donut 🤤

Went tonight (2/24/2020) to get donuts for work tomorrow. Lady with redish-pink streaked hair behind the counter had the WORST attitude imaginable. Clearly hated her job. She rolled her eyes when I requested each order had to go into their own bag, not a box. I was getting donuts for four people, six donuts, no need for a box. My daughter was with me and struggles with an eating disorder. I wasted my time trying to talk her into a donut. This lady's bad attitude made my daughter so uncomfortable that she kept repeating in front of another employee, "I don't want anything, she's too mean." Won't be back.

Who doesn't love a donut.These were very good. Quick helpful staff, great selection choice. Will be back.
